AGREEMENT TO TERMS

This Participant Agreement ("Agreement") governs your participation in the Retreat and includes all terms, conditions, policies, and procedures outlined herein. By proceeding with registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms of this Agreement.

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time without advance notice. Your continued participation after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

SCHEDULE OR CONTENT MODIFICATIONS

The Organizer reserves the right to make minor changes to the retreat schedule, activities, venue, accommodations, or content due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Venue availability or operational changes

  • Instructor availability

  • Local regulations or restrictions

  • Safety concerns

  • Evolving needs of the retreat group

Minor modifications include but are not limited to: adjusting activity times, substituting similar activities, changing meal locations, or modifying practice sessions.

SPACE ALLOCATION

Spaces are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of deposit or full payment. Registration is not considered complete until payment has been processed and confirmed by the Organizer.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR INVESTMENT

Your retreat investment includes:

Accommodation

  • 4 nights boutique hotel accommodation (July 24-28, 2026)

  • Single or shared room occupancy (as selected during registration)

Transportation

  • Airport transfer from Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) or Venice Treviso to retreat venue

  • Private boat excursion to Burano Island and Sant'Antonio Monastery

  • E-bikes for lagoon excursions

Meals

  • All meals prepared fresh daily using farm-to-table, seasonal ingredients

  • Venetian cuisine adapted to the Five Elements philosophy

  • Dietary accommodations for allergies, vegetarian, vegan, and other restrictions (must be disclosed during registration)

Taoist Practices & Sessions

  • Daily guided Taoist Qigong and Tai Chi practice sessions

  • Tao Yin (Chinese Yoga) and breathwork

  • Female energy cultivation practices (ovarian breathing, breast chi massage, 9 flower activation)

  • Inner Smile and Six Healing Sounds meditations

  • One complimentary Tok Sen (Healing Harmony) treatment per participant

Wellness & Integration Support

  • Complimentary 15-page Inner Alchemy Astrology chart with personalized guidance

  • Personal wellness plan designed for your unique constitution

  • Healing circle and closing integration circle

  • All course materials and practice guides

  • Pre-retreat preparation guidance via Telegram group

  • Post-retreat integration support (30 days)

Cultural Experience

  • Half-day excursion to Burano Island via private boat

  • E-bike exploration of local lagoon villages and artisan food producers

  • Access to private beach and lagoon nature paths

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

The following are NOT included in your retreat investment and are your sole responsibility:

  • Airfare to/from Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) or alternative airports

  • Travel insurance MANDATORY

  • Personal expenses (souvenirs, additional treatments, alcohol, shopping, etc.)

  • Gratuities for hotel staff or retreat facilitators (optional but appreciated)

  • Any costs incurred due to flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections

  • Medical expenses, emergency evacuation, or repatriation costs

  • Visa fees or passport costs (if applicable)

  • Any activities or services not explicitly listed under "What's Included"

MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE REQUIREMENT

All participants MUST purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

  • Trip cancellation for any reason (including illness, family emergency, etc.)

  • Trip interruption (if you must leave the retreat early)

  • Medical emergencies and evacuation

  • Retreat/workshop fees (ensure your policy covers the full retreat cost)

  • Force Majeure events (pandemic, natural disaster, political unrest, etc.)

  • Flight cancellations and delays

  • Participants must provide proof of travel insurance coverage. Failure to provide proof may result in cancellation of your registration with standard cancellation policies applied.

CANCELATION & REFUND POLICY

DEPOSIT

The €1,000 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to personal emergencies, illness, flight cancellations, visa issues, or any other reason for cancellation.

FULL PAYMENT DEADLINE

All payments must be received in full by June 30, 2026. Failure to pay by this date may result in forfeiture of your space and all payments made.

CANCELLATION PROCEDURE

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to: healing@gillianreidtao.com

Cancellation is effective on the date the email is received by the Organiser (not the date sent). Verbal or phone cancellations are not accepted.

NO TRANSFERS OR SUBSTITUTIONS

Retreat registrations are non-transferable. You may not transfer your registration to another person or to a future retreat date. If you are unable to attend, standard cancellation policies apply.

PARTICIPANT NO-SHOW

If you fail to arrive at the retreat without prior cancellation notice, this is considered a no-show and results in 100% forfeiture of all payments with no refund.
